What recent guests have said about their holiday at Les Eaux Calmes in Gabian.....

“We had a really lovely time. It's a great location. Very central. The village itself was nice and the locals very friendly. Boulangerie was excellent and only wish we could buy bread like that here every morning. House was stunning; beautifully restored and the courtyard too…..,the weather was fantastic all week. The colour of the sky against the vineyards was something else.”                                                             November 2007

“Many thanks for a lovely holiday in the Languedoc! What a great place! Very impressed with your set-up there, lovely house with everything we needed - we have done quite a lot of self-catering in various countries and we aren't used to having it all set up as at home. Usually you have to go out & buy some bits for the kitchen which haven't been supplied! Weather was great….. We got around most of the places you & others had suggested… Have had various expressions of interest already - so will pass on your leaflet. Thanks again.”    October 2005

“Les Eaux Calmes is a most amazing place, we felt at home a soon as we got through the door.  The decoration, layout and facilities are fantastic.  The village was very beautiful.  J, and I occasionally, enjoyed the daily ritual of visiting the Boulangerie to get the bread and other items.  We also fed the ducks on a regular basis. Both J and I fell in love with the house, its situation and the village.  We would very much like to go again next year if we are able to sort out suitable dates.  I have also passed on your details to family and friends.”       summer 2005

“We thought your little house (well, not so little, actually) was beautiful.  So well equipped - all the details so carefully thought about. I loved my bedroom, and the beautiful view over the hills…. the light on those lovely roof tiles....going down to buy bread in the morning, talking to the old people in the village, the dog 'serving' at the counter in the paper shop. We thought the countryside was stunning and loved our drives round the little towns and villages. A and I used the bikes, and that was probably one of the high points, cycling through fragrant fields in the sun…….. Nice to sit in your courtyard and read and eat.... We felt you had made a brilliant choice of house and we are so grateful to you for our holiday. Thank you. I will recommend Gabian to others: it's great.”                         late summer 2005

And a local property manager: "Our favourite house and the most tastefully done."
