The above calendar can be used to check on current availability. It should not however be relied upon for rental rates in euros or dollars and it should also be noted that changeover days are flexible (not just Saturdays) outside July and August. * * * *
PAYMENT TERMS & METHODS A deposit of 20% is required to secure your booking. The balance is due six weeks before your stay. No breakage deposit is currently required, but guests are liable to re-imburse the costs of any damage which they have caused. UK GUESTS - payment by cheque in the post, or by bank transfer to my UK bank account with Alliance Leicester detailed on booking form. EUROZONE GUESTS - payment by bank transfer to my French Credit Agricole bank account detailed on booking form. GUESTS OUTSIDE EUROPE - payment by bank transfer to my UK bank account with Alliance Leicester, detailed on booking form. Care should be taken to ensure the full payment is credited to my account and all bank charges are paid by the sender. For this reason we offer payment by PayPal for guests outside Europe. This method can save bank charges and exchange commission on transferring funds from abroad. You can pay in you own local currency converted at the midpoint / spot exchange rate with pounds sterling, which should save you at least 2.5% in exchange rate commission. We add a 5% fee to your pounds sterling rental for this service, but the net extra 2.5% cost is much less than what commercial banks charge for sending funds between countries.
